Today we announce public release of our flagship product Samara Content Repository Service (Samara CRS) v.1.0.
Distinguishing features of the product (fully described in this Data Sheet) are:

• JCR 1.0 Level 1 compliant implementation (as defined by JSR-170 specification);
• Access to the content anywhere (not only from web portal products of particular vendors);
• RESTful web service;
• Multiple connectivity modes to the content repository;
• Dynamic upload of node types from the repository;
• Out-of-the-box caching service.

Trial version of the product can be obtained at the Downloads page.

It contains limited implementation of JCR 1.0 API (includes a dummy implementation of the QueryManager segment of the specification). RESTful web service implementation is also excluded.
